Denver Broncos 2011 Season

Is this the year of Tebow? New head coach John Fox is sticking with Kyle Orton for now. But with a team devastated from bad personnel moves from the previous coach, John will have his work cut for him. Luckily he has the support of the new team president, John Elway. The first decision for Fox was to get Champ Bailey back in the fold and make the switch back to a 4-3 defense. Only time will tell if Elway and Fox can lead the Broncos back to the playoffs. The current owner of the Broncos is Pat Bowen.

Denver Broncos History

The Denver Broncos were established in 1960 and joined the NFL in 1970. In the 70’s and 80’s the Broncos were lead by a strong defense that became known as the “Orange Crush”. But they did not start of a lot of success until future hall of famer John Elway came into his own. Under Elway, the Broncos won back to back Super Bowl rings in 1997 and 1998. John had been to the Super Bowl 3 times before that all ending in loses. When Mike Shanahan became the head coach, everything clicked for Elway and Shanahan.
