Denver Broncos 2012 Season

The Denver Broncos started the 2011 campaign off slow with Kyle Orton under center? Coach John Fox and Denver legend John Elway made the switch to Tim Tebow and made the improbably run for a playoff spot. Can the Denver Broncos make the playoffs this year. If Peyton Manning has a say in it as the new quarterback for the Broncos, then the answer is certainly yes. With coach Fox's vaunted 4-3 defense, a future hall of fame quarter back and group of young wide outs, the West is prime for the Denver Broncos to make it back to back division champions.

Denver Broncos History

The Denver Broncos were established in 1960 and joined the NFL in 1970. In the 70’s and 80’s the Broncos were lead by a strong defense that became known as the “Orange Crush”. But they did not start of a lot of success until future hall of famer John Elway came into his own. Under Elway, the Broncos won back to back Super Bowl rings in 1997 and 1998. John had been to the Super Bowl 3 times before that all ending in loses. When Mike Shanahan became the head coach, everything clicked for Elway and Shanahan. The current owner of the Broncos is Pat Bowen.
