Chelsea Football Club is located in Fulham, next door to Chelsea. The West London Derby against Fulham does not have the same intensity as some of Chelsea’s matches againts other rivals due to the fact that Fulham has been relegated to the lower division quite often.. History of the Chelsea FC

Chelsea FC was formed in 1905 by local patrons of The Rising Sun pub. It took Chelsea FC 50 years, but finally in the season of 1954-55 they won their first league title. The 1960’s saw lots of success but no other titles then in the 1970’s and 80’s the team was relegated to the second division. 1982 saw the club come close to dropping to the third division. The club finally got back on track in the early 1990’s. The Blues, their nickname, have won 4 Premier League titles, 6 FA Cup finals, 4 football league cups (currently called the Carling Cup) and 2 UEFA Cup finals. The team is owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.
