Newcastle United Football Club is located in Newcastleupon Tynes. Newcastle United’s full name is Newcastle United Football Club The Best Team In The World. That is a bit of a stretch considering they have gone through 26 managers in just over a 120 years. Newcastle United FC first began playing in 1892 after two teams, one from the eastside and one from the westside merged. The Toon have been at St. James’ Park ever since. Newcastle has never been a powerhouse in English football, but they have built a strong following known as the Toon Army. Also known as the Magpies, this following carries over to their rivalry with Sunderland FC.
